One of my three dimensional mixed media landscape series, inspired by significant journeys I've taken here at home in New Zealand Aotearoa and further afield.  This represents the mighty Waimakariri River as it braids its way across the Canterbury Plains after a sometimes violent birth in the rugged Southern Alps where iwi of times gone by evaded rival attacks and endured the harshest of conditions.  That said, this is a positive piece for me, a visual feast of simplicity using found objects and raw paint techniques to break through to the essence of inate design that lies within the landscape. both modern and ancient.  Beyond the attempt to find words to describe it, this piece is intended for large spaces as a strong impact piece with subtle earthen colours.

PURCHASE and DELIVERY:  This is a unique and high-value piece of art, and payment using this website secures the purchase of your artwork immediately so that no-one else can purchase the piece.

Where an artwork is held by another gallery, I will most likely put you in immediate touch with that gallery directly if you haven't already followed the link.  The selling price of my art is, you'll be pleased to know, consistent irrespective of who is entrusted to display it.

Delivery will be organised by personal contact and agreement, and could either be using a trusted courier service or even in person, at least within New Zealand.  Within New Zealand's borders delivery is included in the price, as is GST.  For international purchases delivery will incur an additional cost to be settled as a separate transaction, and will be agreed by discussion between myself and the buyer.  In all cases, including within New Zealand, there could be an appreciable delay between purchasing and receiving the artwork to allow for the logistics involved. This will be kept as efficient as possible and every attempt will be made to have your artwork hanging in its new location as soon as practical.  I recommend planning for canvas and photographic artworks to be removed from their frames and sent rolled in a mailing tube, for restretching or framing at your cost and discretion at the delivery location, to allow for safe transporting.

Fine art photographs are only printed once purchased by a customer and this introduces a lead time, the progress of which will be clearly communicated at all times.  Framing options can be considered at this point.

If you have any questions I haven't answered here please contact me prior to purchasing, via the contact page on this website.

I am occasionally completely out of contact in remote locations and will follow up with you immediately on my return. This is an increasingly unlikely scenario in the modern world but it's a good thing that such places still exist in New Zealand.

I have been selling art professionally and internationally since 1995 and am gratefull that my work continues to find an audience, thank you.
